Flame Leviathan

Knowing the Abilities 


The Vehicles  


Salvaged Siege Engines  




The Siege Engines have the ability to carry 2 raiders, one member drives and one turrets. Abilities described bellow:

Driver 

1. Ram This ability is exactly like the ram ability from the Wintergrasp Siege Engines. Use it to knock away melee mob(Vrykuls and Iron Dwarfs). It is also used to destroy tower/buildings.


2. Electroshock This is a frontal cone AoE lightening bolt. Great for killing a zerg of Iron Dwarfs. It also acts as an interupt but there is very limited casting through all the trash mobs. This ability can also interrupt the spell schools of the Flame Leviathan, such as his AoE.


3. Steam Rush This is the most fun of all the abilities. Great when used when approaching a large group of Iron Dwarfs. Does a significant amount of damage and knocks them back. On the Leviathan, though, it is more of a tool for kiting. It is the Siege Engine's only method of escape, without it the Siege Engine moves are Run Speed.



Turret - Gunner 

1. Anti-Air Rocket While the mobs in the Air tend to be less than troublesome they do provide a necessary resource to another vehicle. It is the Turret's responsibility to shoot down any air combatants in order to supply the Demolishers with fire power.


2. Fire Cannon FIREBALL FIREBALL. This is the Turret's primary damage ability. It will launch are fireball in an arc trajectory towards anything ground based, such as Towers, spawning portals and ground mobs of any kind. The Turret has 360degrees of range from the Siege Engine, which is important while kiting the Boss.




Salvaged Chopper 



The Chopper holds two players, a driver and a passenger.


Driver 

1. Sonic Horn - This is the primary attack of the Chopper. It is a cone AoE that scales in damage based off the driver's attack power, a decently geared rogue could hit for 5-6k, and it seemed to crit a LOT (based off character's crit rate?)


2. Tar This leaves a patch of tar on the ground which has a slow/root effect on the Iron Dwarfs, Vrykul, and giant NPCs. As of 3/03/09 ing it does NOT slow or disable Flame Leviathan. This patch of tar can be ignited by a Siege Engine Turret or Demolisher driver firing their primary cannon at it. When ignited, the Tar patch delivers a great deal of fire damage to any enemy standing in it.


3. Speed burst This is simply a "sprint" ability. No cooldown, uses 60 energy.


Passenger 

The passenger has no extra abilities, but can heal raid members who are not themselves in vehicles, and can cast offensive spells.


All Vehicles 

All of the vehicles scale with the controllers item lvl. This means that the HP of the Vehicle will be higher for your best gear people than for anyone else(It makes sense that the slowest vehicles-Siege Engine- be these people). All of the more damage incurring vehicles can avoid damage differently. There is very little involved in the way of healing, however even healers can have decent item levels enhance the vehicles and would be excellent candidates for that role.
